I totally love the times he went all caveman on Gemma. Then there were others where he made me swoon.
There were scenes in this book that made me wish I could reach in and smack Aiden. He also has some pretty intense feelings driving him to be so possessive.
Aiden initially seems like an alpha a**hole, and well, to be honest his is. Gemma may seem like a sweet, innocent mafia princess, but she can play hard and dirty with the big boys. They are both so much more than I even anticipated. We had met both Aiden and Gemma a little bit in the first book of the series, Ruthless Saint. Massery did not disappoint with the first book of this duet. For me that model give the character of Aiden a lot to live up to. I think we all need to stop and appreciate the fact that with this cover S. However, I have to start this review by talking about this cover. They are both so much more than I So, I know people always say never judge a book by it's cover.
